Directv offers schools free programming.  Yes, free.  Directv will even donate a 24-inch commercial sized dish with LNB and two receivers to the school for signing up.  Directv offers over 80 channels geared towards education, health and current events.  The school simply pays for the installation of the satellite system and for any additional equipment it may require.  Cipher's electricians can set up a SMATV or L-Band System in your school and train your maintenance and/or media staff to use the system.  For more control and for cost-effectiveness, the school may decide to install a SMATV system.  All 80 channels are available throughout the day, but the school has the ability to filter out any channels and broadcast only those programs they deem necessary.  Cipher's knowledgeable staff can assist you in your decision-making process and can offer you the most competitive installation cost available.
